NUST

NUST aggregate calculator — official formula explained

Estimate your NUST aggregate using the official 75% NET + 75% FSc + 10% Matric weighting (with NUST's 60% FSc threshold). See last-year closing merits.

Why NUST adds the weights to 160 (not 100)

NUST uses an unusual additive formula. NET and FSc are each scored out of 75 marks, Matric out of 10. The merit is your raw aggregate out of 160. This is then converted to a percentage when comparing with non-NUST applicants.

Closing merit ranges (last 3 cycles, open seats)

BE Electrical Engineering (SEECS)≈ 161 / 200
BS Computer Science (SEECS)≈ 165 / 200
BE Mechanical (SMME)≈ 152 / 200
BE Civil (NICE)≈ 143 / 200

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my best NET attempt for merit?

Yes. NUST counts your highest NET score across NET-I/II/III in the same cycle.

Is FSc Part 1 result enough for NET-I?

No, FSc Part 1 alone is insufficient because Part 2 carries 30–35% of NET-I content.
