- English — 9 MCQs (5%)
- Logical Reasoning — 9 MCQs (5%)
FSc Part 1 vs Part 2 — what to prioritise
Roughly 40% of MDCAT comes from Part 1 chapters and 60% from Part 2. If you're in F.Sc Part 1 today, build foundations; don't try to attempt full mocks until Part 2 is at least half done.
High-yield Biology topics (memorise first)
- Cell biology + cell membrane transport
- Bioenergetics (photosynthesis + respiration)
- Genetics (Mendelian + linkage)
- Human physiology — circulatory, nervous, excretory
- Bioenergetics + biological molecules

Frequently asked questions
Is Logical Reasoning really worth practising for 9 MCQs?
Yes — it's the easiest 9 marks for a structured prep, and tight-merit students cannot afford to leave them.
