5 min readAggregate, Tutorial

Three steps

  1. Find the official formula in the university's prospectus.
  2. Convert each component to obtained / total %.
  3. Multiply by the formula weight, sum, round to 2 decimals.

Worked example — KEMU

  • Matric 1000/1100 = 90.91% × 0.10 = 9.09
  • FSc 1020/1100 = 92.73% × 0.40 = 37.09
  • MDCAT 178/200 = 89.00% × 0.50 = 44.50
  • Aggregate = 90.68% (tight for KEMU open merit)
